"Amazing place on a quiet, scenic neighborhood. Sights abound, and a peaceful river running right by it. A little slice of heaven in Nagahama."

"The private beach was the highlight! Never swam in a lake that felt so refreshing! View from the room was amazing. Perfect place to engage I. Digital detox!"

"Able to do my laundry! Yeah!"

"Nice breakfast. Good view, could be better if would have been towards to the Biwa lake, but everyone cannot have it."

"Conveniently location, offering delicious and plentiful breakfasts, and a comfortable environment."

"It's a great location away from the busy life of the city. The lake is crystal clear and great to swim in though we did not see other swimmers. The rooms are small, yet suffice. I'll probably come back again. "

"Fantastic meals, excellent onsen, beautiful view and amazing staff."

"This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate) The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train "

"Staff don’t speak English bathroom only on the first floor we were staying at the 4th and no dinner and no breakfast available. Good for a step only one night before Kyoto. "

"Good food, high speed check out. Close to JR station."

"Clean, spacious room and friendly staff. A little noisy given proximity to rail lines and highway but otherwise a good value stay. "
