We really enjoyed the El Moro. Our upgraded room was a really nice 1 bedroom condo with kitchen and separate bedroom and sundeck facing the gorgeous sunsets every night. Furniture was new and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area and garden were lovely and well kept. Fresh drinkable water was available in the lobby 24/7 so you could fill up your thermos - big improvement over plastic bottles. Hopefully the garbage was separated out and recycled. Location was just off the malecon, so quiet at night, but close to all the restaurants and stores. We walked a lot from here into town. Vrentino on the property was a really good restaurant so we dined here several times as the food was great. Staff were pleasant and helpful and came right away to fix things or help us operate the TV! Would definitely come back - beautiful view from our balcony.

quiet get away
El Moro is comfortable ,clean,tranquil and restful. The staff is very responsive and very genial. I would not hesitate to recognize recommend. El Morro for a quiet place in La Paz

The room was wonderful, we had oceanfront and very clean. We had a kitchen and living room. You are able to walk to malecon. The only thing we did not like was the pool. The pool looked dirty. Oh and our balcony door wouldn't lock from oneside. Other than that we like it. I could bring my children to this hotel next time just hope their pool is clean.

Great place for kids and family. Right on the marina walk way, but not to close that you can hear all the noice from the cars. Coffee shop was great and the cookies yum. Overall always a good experince.

The hotel was really clean and the rooms were very spacious. Walkable to town, but a bit hot to make that walk in during the day. We received a drink voucher which we couldn't use because the bar was rarely open.

This was our first time in La Paz and this hotel was perfect for our stay. We booked the family suite and stayed for 3 nights. Room was clean, spacious, and comfy. I like how the bedroom and restroom are separated from the kitchen/living area. This hotel is also across the boardwalk and walking distance to many restaurants, stores etc. Only minor complaint was that the pool looked a little old/dirty so we did not get in. Also, walking up to the 3rd floor several times a day became tiring. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to family & friends

This is great little gem towards the far end of the "Malecon". It's far enough from the ruckus of loud music and crowds but close enough to walk to these areas if you chose. The Malecon is directly across the street, perfect for morning or evening walks, benches that provide a beautiful view to the water, and wonderful views to sunsets. It's a small hotel, but the rooms are perfect for couples and families and some have amazing views. An on-site restaurant that serves delicious food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pool is not huge but it has never been crowded. The grounds are super clean. If you want a resort style stay but at a much much smaller scale. Club el Moro is a great choice.

It was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. It was luxury at a very affordable price. The restaurant they have there has fantastic food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and social.

Customer service nightmare
The room was not as described, the bed was small and the table lamps did not work.And even though we asked at the front desk to do something about it, they ignored our request. There was an old extension cord hanging from the side of the bed. Customer service was horrible. Free parking was on a dark side road, Would not recommend this place.

Not sure what is meant by VIP access? The Hotel is nice, good location, excellent restaurant on the property. The pool is nice, wish that what looks like it was a jacuzzi at one time worked, they called a kiddy pool, lol. No ice machine, they charged a lot for a small bag. There is no drink service poolside but there is a small, very small bar. The staff is ok, some are nice some need to be spoken to about being a host. No elevators, so don’t bring your handicap mom, I did.

Good location and comfortable beds. Bathroom in desperate need of updating. Shower sprays all over the toilet and the floor. The kitchen is great to have but utensils and pots and pans are limited and need to be replaced. Fun pool, great view from room, and within a very short walk or drive of many places.

Beautiful property, kind staff, most spoke English and put up with my mediocre Spanish haha. Double room was perfect for me and two friends. Kitchenette was lovely. Pool was so pretty and peaceful. Great location on the top of the malecon. Easy walk down and back to restaurants, shops, etc. the restaurant on property was awesome, great bread, coffee, dining. Would def stay here again.

Very clean and spacious rooms.
The hotel is very clean and rooms are spacious. The pool area is also very inviting and quiet, although the pool is not heated and was too cool to swim. The hotel staff could be a little more helpful.
