After staying in a few hotels in Mexico I find de the AR218 the best of them all.
Will repeat my stay every time with no seconds thougths.
When with kids it might not be the best choice, but if you are in Mexico for business it will suit you find.
Long and short stays a both well suit for this hotel
Condesa DF is a leader in the field of boutique hotels. Super capable staff and extremely comfortable (and stylish) rooms :) Definitely coming back...also their rooftop sushi bar is bomb. If you're looking for an unforgettable Mexico City experience definitely stay here.
Hostel staff were very friendly and accommodating, dorm was clean, breakfast was tasty every morning, hostel is in great location - a short walk to Chapultepec park, where there is a flower market, art galleries, anthropology museum, zoo, modern art museum, etc. Bars, restaurants and supermarket are also a short walk, and the bar next door to the hostel has tasty food and a really friendly bartender (Chris!). I misunderstood and thought that all of us staying in one dorm room would have our own private bathroom which wasn't the case, but overall, a great stay.
The Condesa/Roma district is just south of the Centro Historico and east of Zona Rosa. Split by Insurgentes Avenue, the area is residential, with many vibrant cafes, restaurants, and bars. Once popular with movie stars, the district is now home to a mix of urban hipsters and upper-middle-class families. Architecture in the area, especially in Condesa, includes Art Deco and other modernist styles.
