I booked a small double which is 12sq metre so be aware of the size of the room and how limiting this is with space for bags etc. Other than that well priced and comfortable. It is a station away from Gion. Fushimi Inari is several stops away. Kiyomizu-dera is 15 min of walking. The stuff is very nice and polite. My room was a bit weird mixture of traditional japanese and modern styles, but it was nice, clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance to Kiyomizu-dera and some other sites. The train station is also within three minutes walking distance, making it easy to get to other tourist attractions. The hotel is good value. You get complimentary breakfast and drinks. There is a good selection of drinks and food. There is free laundry available. You will only need to pay a small amount for some detergent. Staff will go out of their way to help you. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
