Vi stannade i Kyoto i 5 nätter och uppskattade hotellets läge, enkelt att åka med buss till Gyllene Paviljonen, Palatset, Nin-jo castle, Kyoto old-city, Gion osv. I närområdet finns det gott om matställen och livsmedelsaffärer. Hotellet hade precis öppnat när vi var där och allt var helt nytt och fräscht. Riktigt bra wifi - gick till och med att se Netflix för barnen. It was very spacious, clean, and enjoyable, especially for its price. It wasn't located near the large, touristy areas. It was a very peaceful area. The only thing is that the employee told me that we had not paid yet, and I had to pull up my credit card statement, and she had to call her boss in order to clear up the misunderstanding. It has a laid back feel and you can easily get what you need on your own at the front such as towels, laundry detergent, etc. I believe there is no front desk person after 5pm, but they make it easy to call and check in. The room itself was clean, simple and spacious. We appreciated the free washing machine inside the room and there is a small kitchenette if you wish to use it. It is in walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores, but will require a local bus or walking to get to a train station, which was a hassle with our luggage.
