There were hairs still in the sink from a previous guest, and the sink didn't drain well. The window faced a brick wall, so there was no view. The room size-very small-was typical for this type of hotel in Japan. The hotel looked modern and clean at first, but the actual room was quite dusty. The air vents were covered in dust, the perimeter of the room had balls of dust and hair, it seems vacuuming is done, but not carefully or completely. There was a CONSTANT SMELL of sewer gas coming from the bath/toilet room. I kept the bathroom fan on at all times and the door closed, so it was manageable.
