So, I am quite shocked when i got to pay an extra of 200 yen per person per day. But that is fine, because it is my mistake. Remember not to check-in later than 9 pm, there will be an expensive late charge. The staff is very nice and helpful, he can speak english so well. The decorations in house are beautiful, but the bedclothes didn’t seem to be clean. It’s really unique. I couldn’t fault it. Maybe the only thing I would say was it was a little hot in the room. But I guess this is Japanese summer. Our room was on top floor with high ceiling. So it couldn’t be helped. The price is excellent, it’s clean and traditional. There are only a few rooms, which gives a very family like atmosphere. We had the large traditional japanese room on the second floor with a nice window view over the tiny garden and very nice room decorations. The only unconvenience is that the shared toilets and showers are on the first floor and that the stairs are very steep and narrow. On the other hand, these facilities and especially the bath, was really beautiful and clean. However, check out policy is strict and staffs are rude. You will be kicked out of the hostel right after 10am.
