Our only quibble was the lack of restaurant options, there was only one open one during our stay. Unfortunately there are no other restaurant or store options outside the resort that you can walk to. "Barb and Ray were amazing hosts and thank you for sharing your wonderful property. The location was perfect with easy access to Queen K highway, Mamalahola highway and Kona town. We so enjoyed having our morning coffee on the protected lanai and the cool nights for sleeping. I appreciated the well appointed kitchen and the bowl of fruit and other "goodies". Although my husband and I were traveling by ourselves the house is ideally set up for two couples. We have been traveling to Hawaii for several years and loved staying at the higher elevation. It was one of our best stays on the Island of Hawaii. We would definitely come back."
