"We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall, it was a great visit that I strongly recommend. "

Just minutes away from the summit caldera it was the perfect location for our excursions both day and night. The accommodations were cozy and clean, and provided all the conveniences we needed. "We loved the rainforest that surrounded the tree cottage. The cottage itself was cozy and inviting. The dehumidifier and heater were a nice touch in the humid and cooler climate; the kitchen was great for preparing our own meals; very clean; friendly and accommodating host."

"What a sweet little spot. We were volcano watching and did not want to have to drive back to Kona, so we spotted this place at a very reasonable price, booked it and saved ourselves the 2 hour schlep. It was clean, quiet (well except for the coqui frogs - but just had to close the window) , cozy and had a supremely comfortable bed. Best of all, it was 8 minutes from the park. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next volcano expedition. Thanks Lokahi Lodge! "
