One mile from Volcano National Park. Please download and use the VRBO Vacation Rental app while while traveling. It will make your trip easier and more enjoyable. Thank you! Also, we do not recommend using a GPS as we have received comments that it may lead you elsewhere. A Welcome Guide will be sent to you 3 days prior to your arrival with Directions, Door code, ect. The room is a cozy studio attached to the home with its own private coded entrance. It has a King Size bed, Bathroom, Microwave,Toaster, Coffee maker and refrigerator. It also includes cable TV and WiFi for your convenience. There is no stove or oven There is a two acre, private tropical garden with two teahouses, one overlooking a Koi Pond for your enjoyment. We are one mile from the Volcano National Park. The unit is only for adults age 25 and up. No smoking . $250.00 fee if smoking has occurred No drugs of any kind. Doing so will result in vacate order and police called . Do not bring outside guests onto property or into unit without prior permission The carport is for your use during your stay. Please be aware of backing out from carport. WE NO LONGER ALLOW TRUCKS, VANS, JEEP WRANGLERS OR ANY OTHER LARGE VEHICLES ON PROPERTY. NO EXCEPTIONS! Staying this close made it easy to get to the park to see the latest eruption. The garden on site is beautiful. Some other reviews complained about not having hot water, the host clearly states it takes a while, so just give it time. And yes we saw a spider, took two seconds to remedy that. It's in the middle of a rainforest which is beautiful, but if you want to be in nature, you might just see nature. So don't let those reviews scare you off. Just minutes away from the summit caldera it was the perfect location for our excursions both day and night. The accommodations were cozy and clean, and provided all the conveniences we needed. A surprise bonus was the property itself -two beautiful acres of walking paths and flower gardens. What a wonderful little hideaway! Small efficiency with a king bed that’s heated!! Gets a bit cool in the evenings but there’s a space heater to keep us comfy!!
