When traveling to the other side of then globe, it's nice to know that you'll be welcomed when you get there. To say that the staff at Rocky's were all accommodating would be an understatement.
From our fantastic room to the private boat tour to scooter rentals, there wasn't a thing we were want for. The private beach was a major plus, as it's great to have you own little space away from it all.
I almost don't want the "secret" of Rocky's to get out, as this was one of the most enjoyable...

Best place to stay in Koh Samui. Fantastic rooms, hotel immaculate, staff so friendly, great choice of breakfast, Thai, European , British, and a la carte. The hot items for breakfast could be warmer though. Great beach location and the only place to stay in this area of Koh Samui

This is a magical place that really lets you escape and unwind. The setting is one of the most dramatic I've experienced (only topped by Sugar Beach in St Lucia) - the villas and communal buildings dotted on a steep jungle mountainside that drops down to a secluded fine sandy beach. When you combine the Four Seasons perfectionism with the innate kindness and warmth of the Thai people, the service is as good as it gets. The villas are private and large with great character. It seems that...

A beautiful, well run boutique hotel. We arrived during a massive storm so didn’t see the hotel at its best, but once the storm had passed the staff worked exceptionally hard to tidy up and put all the furniture back out and it looked great.
Breakfast was lovely with cooked to order eggs and a small but lovely buffet of pastries, bread and cereal.
Room wasn’t be biggest but beautifully decorated and spotless.
Loved my stay here, very relaxing

Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and we loved the nightly treats whether it’s a face mask or toffees. There is always an attendant in your block of rooms if you need extra towels or a quick refresh. We made so much use of the balcony, such relaxing couches to read and wind down in peace. The breakfast buffets were excellent, the...

Excellent stay. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and their attention to detail was fabulous. Loved the decor of the property. It was traditional, with the bamboo and wood decor, gives the place a zen like feeling. Best part was the location of the hotel and the way it is designed. Even though we were in the busy part of chaweng we never felt like it. It was very calm and peaceful. The beach was excellent, only issue was that there was some patches of dirt. Stayed at Zazen on recommendation of a friend. We loved the location, garden villa and the superb service. Secluded but not isolated so able to walk to other restaurants and bars. The breakfasts at the hotel are amazing and the service from the staff outstanding. We would have no hesitation on staying here again.

It's the second time I have stayed here this year and had exactly the same good experience. Clean room, everything looking new , nice comfy beds, cleaned everyday with complimentary water daily.
Only negative was the room I was in had really bad wifi connection which didn't get better than 1 bar.

What a little gem this boutique hotel turned out to be!! From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel like I was a VIP guest. The staff were so lovely and very quickly became my friends, particularly Kurgze on reception who was super friendly and efficient..nothing was to much trouble!
The hotel was clean and just beautiful! They had some renovation work going on but it didn’t disturb me much and they were very attentive to check that it didn’t.
