"I stayed with coconutspalm resort over the New Years period and I’ve got to say it was just over average. It’s overpriced for what it is and you have to spend quite a bit of money on taxis to and from Lamai beach, so your best bet is to rent a scooter. I will say that the manager Fred is very good at his job and he did everything to sort any problems out we may of had. He even offered us a free upgrade. "We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms although small are very clean and comfortable. Nice pool and the staff are all so nice and helpful. As other have noted, it is a bit far from busier locations but we didn’t mind that. Local transportation is very close and convenient. It is too bad you can’t swim right out front, but the view is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"I called ahead, before making my reservation,to the front desk and was told parking was available for 50baht basically accross the street at a bar. When I arrived the bar said no parking available The nearest parking I was able to find was over 1.5k away. Had they told me no gauranteed parking, I would not have taken the room. I called and messaged them after, no response "

"By far the best value for money I had two aircorns and the very big and unique swimming pool with glas on the one side was a treat The service was very good and they even have a free taxi to sertain locations I have booked several hotels in Thailand with more or less the same budget and this hotel stood like a pole above water Lovely buffet breakfast with many dishes to choose from I hoghly recommend this hotel, you won't be dissapointed"
