Bed very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location for visiting fishermans village which is lively and has lots of good eating and drinking options. Downsides are a design flaw with the bathrooms where the shower water collects all around the toilet, and the beach in front of the hotel is near a river outlet. This means you get a lot of sediment in the water so the sea is not a clear as other parts of the beach. I have seen better beaches in Thailand, however if nightlife and markets are what you are looking for then fishermans village is a great location! One part of me doesn’t want to post my review. Because I loved it so much. I want to keep this hotel to myself and not share it. It’s a small boutique hotel, right on the beach in a great location at the quiet end of Bophut restaurant district. I had a ground floor room which was right on the beach. Beautiful view, so easy to walk straight out of my room to the pool, beach and hotel restaurant. My only regret about this hotel is that I didn’t book a longer stay. During my trip to Thailand I stayed in about 7 different 5 star hotels but I think the Baan Bophut was my favourite. It has a lovely relaxed, casual feel. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.
