"room was terrible we was up in the attic very small room, room wasn't very clean stains on the mattress protector carpet was stained, couldn't see out of the roof window as it was thick with green moss. I think there was only one member of staff doing everything as we didn't see anybody else no cleaners or anybody. Breakfast was poor considering we had to pay £12.99 extra for it the continental breakfast was very poor, we was the only ones in the resturant. would not be staying here again!"

"Expedia listing did not say the room I booked was basically a basement prison cell without the benefit of a window. Horrible. No one answers the phone at this property. When you call the number on Google you get charged, even if you hang up the moment you hear the voice saying you’ll be charged. Car Park blocked by bad parker , despite telling the front desk, car did not move so I had to park off site. Never stay at any hotel managed by this chain for the sketchy phone system alone. I have >£2 of charges which isn’t a lot of money in the big picture, but not something hotel guests should ever have to pay, especially when I hung up right away It was the local number I found that no one ever picked up. Bad."

"The room was spacious with a large shower. The carpet was threadbare and the bed was extremely hard. I discovered that the restaurant prices were excessive, £23 for fish and chips, £37 for an 8oz RUMP steak! A five minute drive took me to the Badger Box, extensive menu, great prices, £13 8oz Sirloin Steak, happy days. "

"We had a superior room no glasses at all no bottled water no bin liners only two tea bags on complementary tray, bar was fine, breakfast was a mess not tided up & v salty restaurant staff uncommunicative as was the check out receptionist we would not choose to stay here again."
