Girlfriends 24th birthday so we stayed in the junior suite and it is one of the best views and rooms I have ever stayed in.

Great hotel in Musselburgh, close to Joppa and Portobello beach. Lovely staff and great breakfast Busy pub serving meals Booked double room and was allocated huge family room, toiletries included with tea and coffee facilities Bus stop outside takes about 30 minutes to Waverley Station Would definitely recommend.

Just got home from a weekend here and it was absolutely beautiful... breakfast options were great and swimming pool, sauna and steam room were great. My only bad point was the mattress wasnt all that but maybe its be being fussy. Netherless a beautiful place and we will be back in the summer

On the online booking form we requested a quiet room on the top floor and that is exactly what we got plus the added bonus of a lovely view of the abbey and other historic buildings. The hotel is located well away from the main road so no traffic noise. We had a meal in the bistro which had a good variety on the menu, all reasonably priced as were the drinks. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We didn't have breakfast but were told by other guests that it was excellent. I would recommend this...

Excellent location in Morningside close to Pubs/Restaurants so no need to worry that food is not served on the premises. The rooms are beautiful and cater for all your needs, definitely a warm and luxurious feel to them. The owners have provided a ‘snack room’ for guests which is a simple but genius move on their part which has biscuits, crisps, fizzy drinks, water and milk (to name a few) which is part of your price. We stayed here to celebrate my husbands special birthday. From the moment we drove up and saw the impressive ship we knew we were in for a special treat. Everything about this place is incredible. Stunning castle, with all the services (swimming pool, gym, soft play) included! Plus you can go on horse riding, excluded for the services but worth a visit. kids loved it and for grown up so peaceful.

The property location is stunning right on the Elie Beach. Staff were excellent and friendly and the food was fabulous. Will definitely return.

This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight.
