Luxurious Club Room, Poor Restaurant Experience
Hotel is well presented, externally and also within the reception area. The bar is bustling and well stocked. The check in is self-service but in the most simple way possible and the Club rooms are very comfortable and styled in a fresh and modern manner.
My 1st night of 2 was a quick pit stop between meetings and business dinner.
My 2nd night was supposed to be a much calmer, slower, evening with dinner in the hotel's restaraunt. However, having taken 5 minutes to be seated, with no one else waiting and to then be presented with a menu of just around 12 items over 3 courses, concern raised it's head.
After 20 minutes waiting to be served, we left, walking past over a dozen of occupied tables, all lacking one thing; food.
The staff saw us walk out but didn't ask us if everything was ok. Maybe our faces said it all.
