"We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Inn South Stainley, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pet friendly something we deeply appreciated as we were travelling with our dog. Our superior room was beautifully presented, spacious, and featured a comfortable bed that guaranteed a restful night’s sleep. The balcony opened onto the garden, offering a serene spot to enjoy a morning coffee while our dog explored the safe and well-kept outdoor area. It truly felt like a home away from home—for both us and our four-legged companion. The dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Breakfast featured local, glorious produce, and the bacon and black pudding were unlike anything we’ve tasted before rich, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. For dinner, we had the sirloin steak, and it was genuinely the best we’ve ever had tender, cooked to perfection, and served with real attention to detail. What truly sets The Inn apart, however, is the staff. The team was friendly, caring, and impressively efficient. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality added so much to the overall experience. The location is great for easy access to Ripon, Ripley Castle, Harrogate, & Knaresborough, is a perfect blend of comfort, quality, and genuine hospitality. "I had a really happy night in Grassington Lodge . The room was spacious , with a sofa plus table and chairs. Clear instructions were sent to me about how to access my room. I was left real milk for my drinks and the bed was ultra comfy. Everything looked clean and pristine. The pubs, shops and walks are minutes away too so not having food available isn’t inconvenient. Especially if you like exploring. It’s a perfect place to stay. "
