Even though they have a restaurant it was closed until breakfast. They offered to drive us to town (far away) for dinner. They did not have enough seats in the vehicle for our group so we stayed in and skipped dinner. I think for young locals it’s a great place for family with thermal pools, lake, river and nature. Gran Hotel Costa Rica, Curio Collection by Hilton

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Curio in Costa Rica! The staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to be helpful. A special thank-you to Daniel and Luis, the restaurant team, our bartender, and the front desk staff for their kindness and attentive service. Their hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable, and we’d be happy to stay here again."

Wyndham Garden San Jose Escazu

8/10 Good

"The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast is excelent, nice room, nice pool. Only one big detail....if you built a hotel on the side of a highway you need to make a soundprofoof building. This is not soundproofed bulding so its a nightmare the trucks and motorcicles sound."

Barceló San José

8/10 Good

"The resort/hotel is well kept. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. One thing that was a plus to myself and my husband was the rental property they have on the premises."

Hotel Presidente

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent staff and food."

Sheraton San Jose Hotel, Costa Rica

10/10 Excellent

"Clean room. Friendly staffs. Great room service."

Hyatt Place San José/Pinares

8/10 Good

"Breakfast was excellent and there is plenty of parking. Just be aware that you have to validate your parking ticket at the counter if you want to leave the parking lot or you will be charged when you re enter. Overall it was a great stay."

Posada El Quijote

8/10 Good

"Breakfast was good. Standard gallo pinto and eggs with toast and fruit. Room was as described on FB. Pillows were lumpy and bed was hard but still got good nights rest. Pool is small but clean and refreshing with great city view. Hotel is off the beaten path. Nothing is very close as far as restaurants and grocery options. Hotel is at the top of steep busy road without sidewalks and all options are at the bottom of the hill but Ubers were plentiful. Very quiet basic place to stay. No bar or restaurant on site. Plenty of friendly cats though. Would stay again"
