The checkin process was a bit rough. The resort “upgraded” our family to a different room, but it was only designed to accommodate two guests, even though I had specifically booked and paid for a room for three (two adults and one child). The staff seemed surprised that there were three of us, which was confusing since that information was included in my reservation. Thankfully, the king sized bed was large enough for all of us. Other than that, we really enjoyed the resort. It had everything we needed and was a great place to stay. It was a little farther from the main area than we expected, but it was close to Flamingo Beach, which was a nice bonus.

This is a great place to stay in Holbox. Very quiet as it sits about a 15 minute walk from the much busier downtown area. But there is a small area of restaurants an businesses right outside the hotel. The rooms are very spacious, and the grounds are very lush and well manicured. There are two pools (one rooftop) and a basic breakfast is included and served daily. I would say the accommodations are not luxury by any stretch, but more than adequate and overall this place offered very good value. Staff were excellent and easy to communicate with. The stay includes a discount for Carolinda beach club, but we opted to go to Casa Del Mar don the street as it appeared to have a much better beach area. Overall we were very happy with our stay and can’t wait to visit Holbox again. So long as you’re fine with the walk to the ‘downtown core’ this place is an excellent option and won’t leave you disappointed.

I have been coming to this particular resort since 2022. I absolutely fell in love with everything this place had to offer. The amazing vibes, to the staff who work here. Emilio from day 1 had been amazing, from providing us with much needed information and things to do. I couldn't be happier with this place. Now lets talk about Carolinda, the beach club. The food, ambiance, drinks, service are impeccable.

I’m covered in bed bug bites. The hotel lost power and failed to provide air conditioning even after the power was restored several hours later. The room was much smaller that it appeared in photos. Breakfast was okay. Staff communication was great. Access to beach club was nice, but over priced. Island was flooded and taxis were a rip off. I’m covered in itchy open wounds.

The staff was extremely nice, the garden the shared areas were beautiful. Inside the room the beds were terrible, the didn’t loook clean and there were too many little ants all over the bed. The sheets were always sandy and they were. Or clean.

Der Innenhof mit Pool und Garten ist traumhaft schön und sehr gepflegt. Den dazugehörigen Beach-Club haben wir nicht genutzt. Die Zimmer waren auch sehr sauber und geräumig. Nur leider ist die Ausstattung schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück war ok (Auswahl zwischen Pancakes, Toast mit Butter/Marmelade oder Yogurt/Granola/Früchte). Für die eine Nacht waren wir sehr zufrieden.
