"The lady owner was friendly and lovely from the moment I arrived. I was made to feel very welcome and was even treated to a plate of home made biscuits. The bed was comfy and I had an amazing night's sleep. Breakfast was served at a time that was convenient to me and everything was very fresh. The bread and jam were also home made. The property is in a very quiet location and in lovely gardens and provides a great place to stay during a visit to the lake district. "

The location is also perfect, with different kinds of walks clearly highlighted by the staff and the car park safe and away from the road. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly it is, and how thorough they've catered for people travelling with pets."
