"Walking in the door to the sound of a voice calling out "Cheri is that you?" set the tone for what proved to be a most pleasant stay. Brenda has put her heart and soul into this BnB and it shows in every way. Breakfast was a full, delicious buffet, the room was so comfortable I was asleep in minutes, and the menagerie of critters is a real treat. Brenda makes everyone feel comfortable and genuinely cares about ensuring they have a terrific experience. I'd return to Iowa just to stay here......

"We enjoyed our stay, but I do wish the place was a little cleaner. The shared bathroom (upon our arrival) had small hairs all over the sink and vanity like someone had emptied their electric shaver over it. Also, the doors to the rooms, including the shared bathroom, have no locks on them. The breakfast was very filling, and Mary (the hostess) was nice to talk to."

"This house was such a pleasant surprise!! We were in town for surgery of a family member and its convenience to the hospital was perfect. The space allowed us to come and go at the hospital and was great for me to get some work done in between. Comfortable beds and all the amenities of home."

"We appreciated the spaciousness and location of the property. The kitchen is very functional and the induction cooktop is terrific. The online photos showed a kitchen table that seats 6, but actually only had 4 chairs. Otherwise there were few surprises. All in all the stay was very pleasant."
