"Booking in was easy, the room was clean, big and good facilities, the wifi didn’t work in my room. The bathroom was overall clean but the grouting needed attention, plenty of towels. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely the jacuzzi was lovely and warm, though the water needed a clean. The communal carpets needed a clean, it was a lovely quiet hotel, despite a pub next door. It was reasonably priced, I would recommend it and ill would definitely stay there again. "

"I really liked this hotel. We had a room in the building on the island which was very picturesque with fantastic views and a big corner room. The building itself is a bit 'knock-about'. It has the faded grandeur of an old hotel, but that just added to its charm. The swimming pool has a lovely aspect looking out on to the lake and is perfectly serviceable, but the spa in the main hotel opposite really is luxury, with state of the art treatment rooms and a really high end vibe. "Room was very clean, warm and tidy. Front desk staff were helpful. Evening meal was excellent, we had roast dinner. Only slight negatives ; pillows were lumpy and the bathroom tiling & bath seal could have done with slight attention. But they did not affect our stay."
