"Room disappointingly much smaller than expected for this class of hotel. Also, room at front of hotel fronting busy street so even on Saturday there was significant noise from traffic and delivery vehicles unloading - even with balcony doors closed. Tea and coffee making only had peppermint or lemon and ginger tea - no 'ordinary' tea. Coffee from sophisticated expensive looking machine lacking instructions. (Only stayed one night so didn't spend any time trying to work it out!). If we had used it, only one sample of each of 4 coffee varieties so no use if the two of us preferred the same kind! Breakfast excellent BUT over-priced at an alleged £25 per person. A few days before our arrival, we received e-mail offering 50% discount which was accepted (and paid!) at £12.50 each. On arrival at breakfast, menu on table showed full English most expensive at £14.00 but many alternatives available £12.00 and less. My advice would be wait then make your choice on the day! None of these 'niggles' should in any way be considered a complaint but should be taken in the spirit of improving the quality to a standard that I and, I believe, most other guests have a right to expect from a hotel of this quality. (I fully realise, of course, that little or nothing can be done in relation to room size and external noise)"

"It was a perfect stay. Only i give 2 points less due to the experience we had. We found out at 23.00 there wasn't a 2nd roll of toiletpaper. There was no phone to the front desk. We had to go downstairs. The girl said we will bring it directly to the room. We waited 30 min. We were thinking she will leave it outside. In the middle of the night we checked but no toilet paper. Luckily there was just enough paper tissue. Next early morning i asked and they brough it immediately. We loved the interior and it was very clean."
