"Grand old hotel in the heart of Liverpool. Very handy for uni and bars."

"Lovely stay again. We were originally placed over Mathew Street in a standard room and realised on check in that it was a little loud for our liking. I went down to reception and was told there were no standard rooms to swap with so we were upgraded to a deluxe room and moved to the opposite side of the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were very accommodating. Amenities in the room were fabulous. Mathew street around the corner offers entertainment and live music which was also handy as you don’t have to go far at all. Another amazing stay and will be returning. "

"Staff are wonderful. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into town. The room was extremely hot, window only opened slightly, no A/C The bar could do with more ambience, felt a bit like an airport lounge. Maybe dim the lights, a few plants and put candles on tables. Really annoying having to pay for parking £28 for two nights, however that seems to be most English hotels in towns. Overall I would go back."

"Its central for both the train station but also for the city centre shops. The staff are friendly and the check in is also plain and simple. The food in the restaurant is lovely definately a good choice if your in liverpool i will definately be back "

"Comfy bed. Pleasant and helpful staff. Gutted didn’t get to go in thermal suite as it was fully booked but other than that the stay was lovely. Had some birthday chocolates with a message from the team as it was a stay for my birthday so that was a nice touch. 10 mins in taxi or 25-30 min walk to central Liverpool. Would definitely stay again. "
