This rambling old place has a lot of character, and some eccentricities. I have stayed here several times and never had a reason to complain. I am an elderly woman travelling alone and would not keep coming back if my rooms were not clean and very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and most helpful.
There is only limited parking but as yet I've had no problem - I understand that there is a public car park nearby, and also roadside parking is not difficult.

Having stayed in many Village hotels, the Village at Swindon is definitely in the top few, the only issue I had was the disabled parking bays had cars and vans without badges, however the staff allowed me to park in a no parking zone. Very good nights sleep will defo stay again

We loved staying at De Vere in Cotswolds, it was very family friendly. The room was spacious and surroundings were beautiful and calm. I specifically liked the healthy choice of breakfast.
For use of swimming pool, you have to pay £10/ per person and book a lot for 60mins, but it was worth it, not too busy and there were children but not chaotic at all.
We definitely would like to come back!

Unforutunately I didnt arrive at the hotel in time to sample the spa or the restaurant, which was a bummer. I arrived at 21:15 the exact time admission ended. Was able to eat at in The Lounge though and food was hot but small proportions for cost.
However over all i had a good nights sleep and the staff where very welcoming and helpful.
