"Checked in for 1night as we travelled to attend a family funeral, upon entering the room the curtain was shut and the smell of mould of very overpowering. Opened the curtain to be greeted with alot of black mould all over the window the curtain and underneath the table, i spoke to staff on reception about this as my partner has chronic asthma and they moved us rooms very helpful. We moved rooms and went straight out to eat as we had been travelling all day, we went back to the room later on to notice this room also had mould in a broken window lock and a broken table, body hair left in shower! Spoke to the main desk again and they offered us a new ropm it was 11.30pm and we had to be up crack of dawn for a funeral! I saod no the room will do for 1 night as we were so tired, during the night it was so noisy people shouting. Spoke with the manager the next morning and was given a full refund as 2 rooms were disgusting. Staff were helpful but hotel is outdated and mouldy, pictures do not match reality it was like a place they house ex cons!"

"A really friendly greeting at reception, with helpful guidance. The room was of a very high standard, clean and fresh, with a good supply of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Beds were comfy, only niggle was that the extra pillows provided were really lumpy. Extremely helpful staff in the breakfast room, very courteous and friendly.There was a good selection of hot food for breakfast, and a lovely selection of fruit, sweet melon slices and fresh fruit salad. We had taken our dogs, and one little warning for other dog owners is that the grassy, wooded area for walking dogs has a lot of deer ticks, so good idea to check dogs after walking. We enjoyed our stay and the use of the pool. "

"All you need in a hotel at a reasonable price near centre of city. Bedroom and bathroom were well-sized and comfortable. Parking was convenient. All staff were helpful and friendly - particularly Miguel at breakfast."

"For under £60 a night I was pleasantly surprised. Comfy bed, clean room and the bath was a nice bonus. No complaints from me."

"Hotel is located on a quiet square a few minutes walk from the city centre. The room was large, spacious, newly decorated and extremely clean. Excellent generous breakfast served by friendly and welcoming team member. The mattress was overly worn and not comfortable, the bed linen was overly fragranced with fabric conditioner, as were the towels. Overall the positives way outweighed the negatives."

"Definitely not "serviced ". 2 loo rolls, half a bottle of washing up liquid, 1 x pod for washing machine and about 75ml milk left to us for 4 nights/5 days. Check in is an email sent to you literally at 2pm, not a minute earlier and there is a number to call if anything emergency is needed. Other than that, no human interaction. Your room key is a swipe you get in your email. Noisy at night if you're at the front. There is a nearby church whose bells are chimed every 15 mins throughout the night on certain days. Drunken/skaghead idiots screaming at each other inbetween. It was sun-thurs we stayed so not even a weekend. Apartment not checked, bedding or towels not changed, no type of cleaning assisted with...just thought we'd at least get fresh towels after 4 days."
