The staff definitely had the wow factor, we were treated like royalty and my kids were made to feel really special. Good gluten free selection at breakfast.

Such a lovely place to stay for my friends wedding, staff were so friendly and accommodation allowing me to check in early so I could get ready. Room was comfy and clean and breakfast was delicious and such a good portion! Would 100% recommend.

All three agree, very warm welcome, especially as delayed and very late arrival.
Staff all welcoming . Looked after nicely after long journey.
breakfast was superb.
A very nice hotel, to coin a phrase "exactly as it says on the can"
Obviously does weddings, I would think very very well.
Stay here anytime when this way again.
Thanks.

Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided.
Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast.
The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...

We had a great stay, with everything we needed. Exceeded expectations and will certainly book again if in the area. Very convenient with on site parking and an easy walk into the city centre.

Check in was very efficient.
Room spacious and clean. En suite shower / toilet clean too. Bed was very comfortable.
Wifi worked well, without any problems.
Although the car park was busy, there were plenty of parking spaces. Hotel was conveniently close to a regular bus route to Norwich city centre.
All staff at reception were helpful and professional, especially one clean shaven man, who printed a document for me. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name.

Loved everything about the hotel, outside cabin and spa. Lovely relaxing time with a friend for the weekend. Very clean. Lovely staff and amazing sunday dinner.
My only annoyance was my friend forgot her toothbrush and they charged us £2 for one. I feel a complimentary toothbrush would not have affected their bottom line considering how much we spent at the property. But otherwise a beautiful venue with great staff and a beautiful luxurious spa.

Excellent hotel! Excellent staff. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English...

Ideally located -close to city centre (less than 10 minute walk) yet far out enough to be away from the usual city commotion. Staff were pleasant, helpful. Hotel itself is smart and well maintained. Great value.

The best area to stay in Horsford is generally within the village centre itself, particularly around the Recreation Ground and The Street, as it offers the most convenience and a pleasant village experience.
The village centre of Horsford is quite compact, with its main amenities concentrated along The Street. Here, you'll find local shops, traditional pubs, and the village hall. The Recreation Ground is a central green space, providing an open area for relaxation. This area is ideal for travellers who appreciate a quieter, community-focused stay while still being well-connected to Norwich.
Families often find Horsford a good fit due to its more relaxed pace and access to green spaces. The proximity to the Horsford Woods offers opportunities for walks and exploring nature, while the village amenities ensure convenience.
When is the best time to go to Horsford?
The best time to visit Horsford is during the late spring and summer months, particularly from May to September, when the weather is generally mild and pleasant for outdoor activities.
During these months, you'll experience longer daylight hours and warmer temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the local countryside and enjoying walks. The village and surrounding areas are at their greenest, and many local events and markets are held during this period. For those who enjoy being outdoors, this is when you'll get the most out of your visit.
The shoulder months of April and October can also be good, offering cooler temperatures and fewer crowds, which can be appealing for travellers looking for a more peaceful experience while still enjoying reasonably good weather.
