"We enjoyed our stay at the Torside cottage so much. It is such a lovely cottage, everywhere you look the views are incredible. There is easy access to many trails and activities in the area. The hosts, Lisa and Kev, were very nice as well. We arrived in the village a bit early while they were still preparing the cottage for us, but allowed us to drop our bags off and suggested a wonderful walk around the village and hillsides while we waited. "We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again"

"The property was in an excellent position, well equipped and very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent when we did encounter a problem with the shower which was quickly solved. The outside patio area could do with a little maintenance to improve the overall experience as we spent a lot of time sitting and eating outside in beautiful weather and surroundings. We felt that the provision for recycling also needed improving but otherwise the whole experience was excellent"

"6 adults (2 at 20) & dogs , one little & one medium . The cottage was better than expected , the pictures online are good but it’s even better when you are there . Really nice village & the local pub was great , we went twice and ate one night , food was delicious. It takes just 5 mins walk to the pub . Right next to a park and the river 3 mins walk ."
