"Nice place to stay when visiting nearby towns, very spacious apartment which made for a very relaxed feel. Pleasant village with pub below. Handy having a kitchen as food options are limited. Noise from the pub wasn't too bad but it was quite noisy from the kitchen below the kids room, which had music on loud! We had to put kids to bed in the other room then move them back in later in the evening. "

"Flat 1 was clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. There were four adults staying and our issue was with seating. If you were all in the Living Room/Kitchen there was a sofa and two stools. You could not all sit around the breakfast bar for food or all sit comfortably watching tv. Not too big a problem if just a base while you're out and about. The shower control possibly needs looking at, and the shower screen seal as water seemed to cover the floor. Bedrooms were spacious and beds...

"Turned up to the hotel to be told we didn’t have a booking. Zero empathy or customer service. I had driven 3 hours and myself and my 1 year old had no place to stay and hotels.com weren’t able to relocate us so had to drive home. "

"The property is modern, clean and warm with the pictures and listing giving an accurate impression. The only slight criticism we have was that the sofa was a little uncomfortable for sitting on. Also, the parking location wasn't that clear, but we did manage to park outside the property. Our overall impression is favourable and we will definitely be looking to use the property again on our next visit."

"Peaceful location with amazing views. The Apartment is located in a beautiful area but still close to the A6 for getting out & about. Lovely walks right on the doorstep too. The Apartment is a good size & well equipped. The rooms all provide great views of the area. Booked our stay here after realising we had not stayed in Derbyshire before & so pleased we did, thank you Elaine for making us feel so welcome."

"Ideal location for exploring the Peak district Property was spotless, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen. Availability of Netflix very nice touch. Property advertised for up to 10, but would think it could be a bit of a squeeze unless several of party were small children. There were 6 of us and it was perfect size"

"Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too."
