It's rather loud and fills your hotel room. You're forced to listen to it. It started at 5 AM and woke me up. Thankfully, they shut it off when I asked. It was a bit odd; I paid for the rooms, but my slightly older friend was the one they handed a business card to and consulted. Overall, this is an extraordinary hotel. You're in your own private oasis amid a bustling tourist area.
