"From the minute we arrived the people at front desk were super friendly and quick. My son accidentally left his expensive computer in the room and he did not realize it. From the ship we contacted the hotel and they had found his computer and put in lock up until we got off our cruise. Thankful for the honest staff!!!"

"The location of the hotel is perfect—walking distance TO THE PIER. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and cool. The continental breakfast was decent. I wasn't happy about their checkout time. I called down asking for another 30 minutes, but was told NO. So we're allowed to check in at 3:00 p.m. BUT have to check out at 11:00? 30 minutes wasn't too much to ask. If you need more time, CALL DOWN REALLY EARLY. I wasn't happy, BUT KATE at the front desk made up for it. She let us stay parked at the hotel (which saved $40 in parking at the pier) and let us use the pool in the afternoon. She took this review from a 2...to a 5. THANK YOU, KATE! YOU REALLY ARE THE BEST! "

"The front desk personnel were absolutely extraordinary. The rooms were perfect for what we were here for. The breakfast buffet area was very clean and the coffee was fresh and hot. The grounds were very well maintained and everyone was very respectful. There is also a restaurant but we had made other plans. The area seemed calm and there was plenty of parking. The only issue was housekeeping decided to bust in our room at 8:20 this morning which was unexpected and very startling. I did go to the front desk and the very kind lady at the front desk was more than apologetic. She also contacted the General Manager of the property and he was more than respectful and willing to help in anyway that he could. I worked with Marriott properties for years and this staff and general manager are top notch. The bath tub could be replaced as it is very worn and housekeeping should clean under the coffee pot area as that was a bit dirty. The pillows were a bit small but the beds were clean and very comfortable. It is a great place for the price as well. I would give the hotel 4 and a half stars (out of 5) and would most definitely recommend."
