"I liked my stay. Being a solo female traveller, I never felt threatened about my safety here. The hosts are very friendly. It is an amazing place to hangout with friends or making new friends. The idea of putting 1 € in the donate box placed over the top of the refrigerator and grabbbing any can/bottle of beer or ice-cream from the fridge was one of the thing I liked the most. "Excellent for; Great location at the heart of the old city is San Sebastian. Wide room with comfortable bed. Noted; Very noisy with loud music till mid night around 2 am. Strongly recomends to have earplugs. Limited hot water from shower only for 5 min, and it becomes cold water, take care."

"The hostel is new and very nicely designed in a good area, 1 block from Zurriola surf beach and under 10 min walk to the old town. Bare essentials kitchen and good wifi everywhere. There is a bar/cafe downstairs and the actual dorms are right next door in a residential apartment so you need to be peaceful in there. The owners David and Haritz are two of the nicest, hospitable guys you'll ever meet who will make your stay a memorable one. Also try the salmon toastie!"

"I got double charged twice on this property by Expedia and the owner! Nightmare experience Paid for it the minute I booked on Expedia. Then the owner demanded payment in cash before letting me in. No customer service from either party. Disappointing experience and would not recommend it"

"Share facilities can differ dependant on guest using at the time. however there are house rules given to you on arrival which you sign a recognition form stating a fine if you break house rules. My experience... drunk males & females shouting down the hallways to each other, people violently vomiting into the toilets, used condoms left in bathroom/toilets & paper thin walls that you can hear every sound. This was not in dorms this was private rooms with shared bathrooms"

"We arrived at the property with no information about how to access our room. Whoever is managing the property is no where to be found... basically asked another person who had access to the building the code to get in and found the key to our room in the door. Also, no fridge, no laundry, at the site as promised. Great location though at night too noisy to sleep with the window open so had to muscle through the heat."

"The building holds the heat and without AC the only option is to open the window, this does not work as the street is exceptionally noisy with trucks buses and motorcycles. Also for the price, I expected it to be bigger, hot water that doesn’t run out, house keeping, or someone around to ask questions. We don’t normally complain either. Positives are it was reasonably clean and location was great."

"I was lucky enough to get a room with an ocean view. While it isn't the newest hotel, eating dinner while enjoying the sunset on the balcony and watching the surfers was unforgettable. It was also very nice to have a kitchen. "
