Stayed for just one night but really liked this property even though it was maybe a little expensive for just a 'room only' stay. Beautiful location in the private grounds of an old rectory surrounded by well kept gardens. Parking was in the grounds nearby and felt very secure. The check-in and arrival instructions were excellent, wi-fi connection was good and the room was clean with complimentary toiletries and coffee/tea. We just required a room for the night on our travels. We did not expect this lovely self contained unit with kitchenette microwave toaster kettle and fridge along with 2 televisions and great wifi. It was great!! If you get there when the centre is closed as we did you will get a text to collect your key from a key safe on the wall. Lovely quaint hotel. Crackin wee bar with really great staff who took care of my dog and me. Handy location just off the A1(M) - a welcome stop on a long journey. Super value too.

Great hotel with very pleasant, helpful and welcoming staff. Breakfast was leisurely. Sat in the bar until after 10.30pm. Great country pub atmosphere. Scenic views around the place.

We ariived late in the evening for a weekend break and were welcomed by Dave who showed us to our luxury bungalow. In the bungalow Denise had prepared us a grocery pack which we made full use of with arriving so late. My elderly mum was with us and Dave and Denise really did go above and beyond spoiling us. A fantastic stay with the most friendly staff. Staff were very prompt at accepting requests and catering to our needs. Quick check in and check out. Kids throughly enjoyed the pool during the stay. Would highly recommend the place.

I needed a overnight stopover on route to Peterborough, so research i did, i located this hidden gem. This has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in many a year. We arrived 2 hours early and were given key to the room and a very nice young lady showed us the way and explained the facilities.
