Room large and very clean. Lovely small hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Very quiet at night. Highly recommended

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming they were superb. We were sorry the restaurant and bar were shut and there was no hot option for breakfast. (We stayed Sunday to Monday)

Ideal location, friendly chilled out staff and large, comfortable warm room

The owner was extremely attentive, even got some decaf coffee for our room. We were able to book into our room early which was very convenient. The room was very clean and even little touches like cotton buds and cotton wool in the bathroom didn’t go unnoticed. The breakfast, wow, excellent, such a hearty meal, lots to choose from again the owner remembered I drank decaf. Attention to detail was excellent and calling me by my first name made it very welcoming and friendly. I will absolutely...

Well run Bed and Breakfast within a two min

Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, Overall our stay was excellent and great value for money.

We will be staying here again on our way home from Scotland in a week and am looking forward to it. The coked breakfast is huge and really good, as is the porridge. The ingredients they use use are top...

Staff very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. Had dinner which was delicious and well priced. Will definitely book in if we go back to Gretna.

We actually had a bit of a hiccup from expedia as they sold a family room with 2 double beds that the hotel didnt have. The receptionist Fluer (apologies if name spelt incorrect), was very helpful, polite and she made the stay that extra bit special for us and we recieved a...
