Super large refurbished room. Other rooms are currently being refurbished but this was not intrusive. Plenty of parking and excellent WiFi. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant at hotel but also plenty within walking distance.

Great location opposite the beautiful St May's church. Large room with comfortable bed. Good restaurant for evening meals and breakfast.

A very good location for Gloucester and Cheltenham attractions.On top of a hill overlooking the M5,which was noisy and windy,but you could not hear anything in the room,which was warm and cosy,with a decent bath.

Lovely room above a quiet pub. Serves tremendous food. Owner is lovely and will do his best to make your stay a special one. Nice touches like the tray of home made biscuits and fresh milk for the morning tea/coffee. Espresso machine in the room was great. Nice for a short break and not far from the M5 or the cotswolds

Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast lovely.

We had an amazing time and the customer service was really on point. The staff member at breakfast was very funny and friendly. She made our breakfast time fun. The gym, steam room, sauna and pool were great to be able to use. Overall experience was really good. The only recommendation is to sort out the parking. Having to pay for parking as a guest is quite ridiculous.

I don't usually sleep well in hotels but Wharf House was so peaceful and comfortable I slept at least as soundly as I do at home. The room was clean and well equipped with nice touches of luxury toiletries, shortbread biscuits and a mini cafetière and proper coffee and herbal teas in the room. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive and breakfast was delicious

The hotel is clean and tidy and the breakfast good. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom well equipped.

Character hotel bordering miles of countryside. Comfortable large bed on top floor, with good breakfast. had already eaten on arrival so cannot comment on evening meal. Top floor room did have sloping ceiling, but no issue. Plenty of free parking and lovely quiet setting.

Extremely good value for money, very comfortable and clean room. Exceptional Fillet Steak with a very nice reccomended red wine. Absoloutley will visit again when in the area.

We were made very welcome by Sophie and Andy who looked after all our needs and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and comfortable with all facilities. We had the cooked breakfasts which were excellent. We would highly recommend Lea House.

I don't normally use superlatives but for this place I am prepared to make an exception. We stayed for two nights and from start to finish it was an excellent experience. The welcome was warm. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything for a stay was in the room, perfect! The area was not the nicest some street noise by rowdy people outside, no problems with our motorcycle outside though. For cheap accomodation near the quays I'd say this hotel (and the staff) is very good, no complaints at all.
