"The Crown is situated in a pretty little village and is pretty much the centre of entertainment for that village. The pub itself is cosy, with beamed ceilings and is well stocked with ales and spirits to suit every taste. The staff are friendly and welcoming as are the locals. We had a twin bed room at the rear of the pub, which was comfortable enough. We were unable to book our usual double bed so sleeping on a smaller bed did not help. The room itself was clean and basic, with a good shower...

Room was clean and comfortable, but the best aspect of the stay was the friendly staff and excellent food. Portions good, and the pub has a great atmosphere. Breakfast hostess was absolutely lovely friendly but not intrusive - a real asset to the place. Didn't much care for the bar manager but believe he was agency so will probably not be there long. Lovely area to visit and would definitely recommend this place for staying or just dining. "

"Room 39 nice, view of trees and carpark, very comfortable and quiet. Enjoy free parking. Windows in the Restaurant were filthy, shows up when very sunny. Otherwise hotel very clean. Breakfast was ok, plenty of choice - had an Agency Chef (info via Reception) not good at taking our/other Patrons breakfast requests. Reception very helpful. Would recommend local Indian Restaurant Rasoi for dinner."
