Ramparts of Castle Hill Fort looking North over the Thames Valley floodplain. The fort was constructed about 600BC however worked flints dating back to neolithic times have been found here suggesting human occupation dating back to 4500 BC.

Blunsdon by-pass, 18.11.2008. Both carriageways of the by-pass around the village of Blunsdon are now open. That on the left is the south-bound carriageway and it opened two days ago. The project is not quite complete but is well on the way. This is how the same view looked a few months ago 865955

Rooms are dated Charge 10 pounds per person for Spa/pool yet not clearly detailed on any website! First room bathroom had a leak and second room door wouldn’t close! Staff not very interested!!
