The picture of the hotel does not show reality of the area.one can hardly find the name.it is in a very comercial area with many people around. It does not look very safe in the evening. Inside the hotel is ok though no elevator in the first area. Double stairs before the reception. Staff are ok fir questions. Both speak some English and try to help. The rooms are very basic, no coffee machine or microwave. Room is clean daily if you wish. No Netflix Or Utube only one English Chanel for news all day Close to the U trains train stations and FlixBus . The city if you explore many beautiful places to see. People in general don’t offer help though some people speaks English.

Nice hotel and clean rooms. Within minutes from the train station. Weird or homeless people hanging around the street, especially during the night.

Decent, though over-priced for what is available, hotel right in the heart of Hamburg. Very close to the main railway station. But the area around the hotel is very noisy and gets potentially unsafe at night

Hamburg city break.
Nice and friendly staff from reception to cleaning staff. Located close to the main Hauptbahnhof station. Multicultural area, nice restaurants and Middle Eastern, North African foods.

Great location close to downtown, in a very vibrant area. Clean. Very quiet room (window opening in an inner yard). Non-pretentious and excellent for the price.

The location is in a sketchy part of town. I felt safer spending most of my time locked in my room. Even though I didn’t exactly feel safe in my room either, because there was a dark alley right outside my window with people screaming into the early hours of the morning.

Lots of stairs!
Stairs everywhere! About 50 steps up to reception. Then lift runs from landings halfway between floors. More stairs! Room very warm, then when opened window wide, lots of noise from aircon and kitchen. For the price it’s ok - not much nearby is cheaper. Quite close to main station. Decor ok, but typical for an old, low budget hotel. Sheets clean and bed comfy. Good shower. Staff were great.

My issue with the hotel is its location. The area is particularly “seedy”. Though the room itself was overall pleasing.

The Property was 500m from the Central Station, the front door hidden between two shops with their awnings out. Staff very helpful. Room basic but met requirement, only thing missing was tea and coffee facilities.

OK hotel in a dodgy area.
3 night visit to Hamburg. Hotel is in the Turkish area (which isn't bad lots of great places to eat etc, but it's very busy and noisy), with some dodgy streets and areas surrounding it, prostitutes, junkies, drunks and beggars. Hotel itself is safe, clean ran by friendly staff. Just a shame where it is.

The hotel is slightly tired but clean enough and very close to the central station so exactly as required. Not in the fanciest neighbourhood for a longer stay but fulfilled our needs.
