I loved the view from my room and the grounds were beautiful.I didn’t appreciate the quality of cleanliness in my room (shower not cleaned, the floor around the base of the toilet did not look like it’s been cleaned for a while, sink had something stuck in it in until I cleaned it. The lack of hand towel, face cloths and toilet paper was a constant problem. Was told I only get 2 hands towels and face cloths for the week. I had to constantly ask for toilet paper and service. (The staff member did come a couple of times but at 8am, which wasn’t convenient for us). After speaking with the Customer Service Manager they sent Sharalyn, this was the fifth day of my 7 days vacation, she was amazing! We ran out of water since the fridge wasn’t stocked often. (necessary for medication) Was told to go to the Cafe for water which was inconvenient for me. We ordered Room services for breakfast a few times, the staff was pleasant, unfortunately every meal had an issue. Missing drinks, or wrong drinks were sent. We specified condiments, it was also missing, fruits, tea bags, hot water for the tea and also specified no bacon, it was always on my plate so I couldn’t eat it. I went to the cafe this occurred every day that I ordered room service. The restaurant,Taj was good, Grazie was good but exceedingly slow! Ma mazon was ok but disorganized with reservations, the Buffet was ok. Overall Friendly staff but serious issues with service! This isn’t the Royalton’s standard that I know of!

The resort was beautiful, peaceful, clean, very well maintained, and the staff was very humble and friendly. The room was very spacious with your own private pool. If you are light sleeper, the crickets chirping might be a problem keeping you up. The restaurants offered a variety of foods, friuts, and greens for all nationalities to find something to eat. The resort had two large pools with an infinity view overseeing the ocean. They offered a few activities but we didn't participate because we had other commitments. There's not really much to do outside the resort and restaurants are scarce. Most attractions are 40 minutes plus away needing to rent a car to get around. The roads a narrow, curvy, and very steep making driving a challenge since you drive on the left side of the road. If you never driven on the left side it could be challenging but doable. If your goal is to relax and enjoy all amenities the resort offers, this is a beautiful resort to stay in.
