"The photos just don’t do this place justice! We stayed here with a large group over the new years period and the place was fantastic - good outdoor and indoor space, close to the beach, room for dogs and plenty of activities to do. Glen and Carla were awesome hosts and brought around local food daily for us to enjoy - generous and hospitable. We stayed for four days and wished for more time. A beautiful part of New Zealand!"

"This amazing slice of paradise was the perfect place for two friends (and a dog named Sprocket) to get away from it all for a brief moment. The atmosphere of the property was refreshing, and soaking in the hot tubs stole any of our remaining cares. Sprocket enjoyed the grounds, but especially the warmth of the fire. "The property was easy to find, views from deck awesome. Had lots of walks on the beach, meeting the friendly locals (seals). Didnt see any people. Train track right next store - added character to the house!!"

Nice place to stay

"Reception was excellent and early check in was allowed upon our arrival. There was a lovely little little courtyard where our group gathered four sundowners and snacks prior to going out for dinner. While the view wasn't great, you could hear the ocean, which was nice. "
