The setting is absolutely beautiful, right on the lake with gorgeous views from our balcony\. I also had excellent massage-I highly recommend the spa, although unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the massage therapist\. Downside The overall service was lacking, especially at the front desk, where agents barely spoke English, which made communication difficult\. Additionally, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation\. The room felt old and tired and could really use an update\. This hotel has the potential to be amazing if they address these issues and invest in improving the rooms and overall service\.

Pros: -Staff were all very friendly and helpful -The room was very impressive -The view from the rooms and hotel are stunning -Transportation is available at the hotel if needed -beds are very comfortable compared to other places I’ve stayed at in japan Cons: -It’s a bit of a drive if you want to get to any of the towns nearby, but that seclusions from them also has its own charm to it Overall I loved this hotel and it’s been my favorite in Japan so far so I had to give it 5 stars

Hotel was clean and the staff were all very polite and helpful. The beds were a little uncomfortable, the AC didn’t work well and the room was hot but we were able to open the windows which was nice. Overall, the hotel was dated and guest rooms could use a renovation

Really nice hotel by the lake a secluded in 60-70’s style (which I really liked). Only pb is the buffet restaurant try to avoid it great value. They have 2 other options hopefully better ;)

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The meals were very good and the location was superb. We enjoyed being able to walk by the water and also enjoyed spectacular views of Mt Fuji during our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel situated at a beautiful location by the lake with a view of Mt Fuji when weather is clear. Nice walk to forest area. We had a spacious room in annex building. Air conditioning could have been better but not a problem. Buffet style dinner at lakeside restaurant was excellent with plenty of choices, although a bit pricey. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Free shuttle bus service to station comfortable and punctual.
