Stayed one night for a business trip. Great windows, quiet. Had to get on hands and knees to plug in my converter and charger. Did not see a plug by the bedside. Did not take advantage of any other hotel services. Had breakfast at a coffee shop across the street.
Had a corner suit with a great view. Room was great with a jacuzzi tub and very clean. Breakfast ( included in my package) was also very nice. Hotel is a short walk to the beach and the Haeundae metro station. Area provides a large selection of restaurants and bars
A friend and I stayed at the Haeundae Grand Hotel for one night while we experienced all we could of Haeundae beach. Walking into the hotel, we felt calm and awed with the large vaulted ceiling and twisting light fixture. One of my favorite features was the fruit juice/bar area that had many seats and private little nooks for people who wanted to enjoy a drink (I recommend the Midnight Martini, gorgeous and delicious). While we didn't get a beach front view, the "city view" was still gorgeous with more green mountains than city. The hotel is a small walk from the main entrance/roadway to Haeundae with many delicious Korean BBQs and very close to the "Fish and Chats" Bay 101 restaurant that seems to be a hidden destination for Korean natives. I recommend looking for the night light show on a building (you can see from the elevators at night) and walking around the building to a small inlet the boats are kept along with the best (fried) seafood and chips that I have had in Busan. Many Koreans go there to get pictures of the surrounding city scape and for the large buckets of seafood and pitchers of beer. The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke great English if Korean is not your first langauge.
it wasn't exceptionally good but the hotel is very accessible to places of interest. although there were problems with the toilet and the wifi connection, the staff were very helpful and promptly attend to customers' needs.
Overlooking the Korean Strait, Haeundae Beach is popular year-round with locals and tourists alike. Shops and food stalls can be found on the boardwalk. Dongbaek Island is at the southern end of the beach; the rocky point is covered with pines and offers sea, beach, and city views. Central Busan is within 10 kilometers (6.5 miles).
