"An excellent Hotel close to everything you need."
Stayed here for just a night. This is a wonderful hotel for very close to the beach and everything you need.
The rooms are very spacious and it is more than you can expect for what you pay. The bathroom and the toilets are clean and quite large. All the toiletries provided with clean towels, indoor slippers, bathroom slippers....etc..
Suitable for couples and group of friends on a sight seeing trip as the beach is just 2 mins walk. I had a room from where i could just get glimpse of the Beach from the large windows.
There are various restaurants, pubs and open market just as you walk out of the hotel.
Can be a bit noisy but as the rooms are mostly from level 9-14 you can live with it for short stays.
it wasn't exceptionally good but the hotel is very accessible to places of interest. although there were problems with the toilet and the wifi connection, the staff were very helpful and promptly attend to customers' needs.
If you are traveling and looking for a place stay in Busan near Beach, this is it. Citadines offer 24hr gym and self laundry, both in very good condition. In suit kitchen is convenient. Bathroom is nice and clean. I slept in every morning till 11am without being disturbed. hotel does operate like apartment building, true home away from home.
Stayed one night for a business trip. Great windows, quiet. Had to get on hands and knees to plug in my converter and charger. Did not see a plug by the bedside. Did not take advantage of any other hotel services. Had breakfast at a coffee shop across the street.
- good design, clean and tidy room.
- good hotel location with transportation and plenty of restaurant near the hotel.
- beach and metro can reach in walking distance.
- good breakfast even food is the same everyday
A friend and I stayed at the Haeundae Grand Hotel for one night while we experienced all we could of Haeundae beach. Walking into the hotel, we felt calm and awed with the large vaulted ceiling and twisting light fixture. One of my favorite features was the fruit juice/bar area that had many seats and private little nooks for people who wanted to enjoy a drink (I recommend the Midnight Martini, gorgeous and delicious). While we didn't get a beach front view, the "city view" was still gorgeous with more green mountains than city. The hotel is a small walk from the main entrance/roadway to Haeundae with many delicious Korean BBQs and very close to the "Fish and Chats" Bay 101 restaurant that seems to be a hidden destination for Korean natives. I recommend looking for the night light show on a building (you can see from the elevators at night) and walking around the building to a small inlet the boats are kept along with the best (fried) seafood and chips that I have had in Busan. Many Koreans go there to get pictures of the surrounding city scape and for the large buckets of seafood and pitchers of beer. The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke great English if Korean is not your first langauge.
Overlooking the Korean Strait, Haeundae Beach is popular year-round with locals and tourists alike. Shops and food stalls can be found on the boardwalk. Dongbaek Island is at the southern end of the beach; the rocky point is covered with pines and offers sea, beach, and city views. Central Busan is within 10 kilometers (6.5 miles).
