Very nice and helpful English speaking staff. I paid 120USD for 2 nights for the 'privilege' of spending time in my room with my wool hat, jacket and gloves on. I explained it's cold and the lady from reception turned my heating on. I left for a walk and came back an hour later to find the room was still freezing. The lady from reception came again and told me my bag must be blocking the temperature sensor so the heater is not warming the room. I moved the bag and sat for a while longer. The lady from reception did come up once more to ask how it was (I was sitting on the floor at this point as the room had underfloor heating). I explained it seems to be getting warmer. Another hour passed by and still the room was very cold I went down but the lady on reception was not there. I called the number and she explained she had gone for dinner (so noone on reception) and that there were no other rooms for me to move to anyway. So, freezing cold rooms. No elevator or lift to the private rooms upstairs (carry heavy luggage up), Only hand towels provided for drying with after showering (similar to very very cheap hostels elsewhere), and No tv in the room. No free water (as per my booking confirmation I was supposed to get water bottles each day). It was nice to be so close to a fun part of town. There are tons of places to go a short walk away-anything from tent bars and food stalls to more upscale restaurants. The common areas are very comfortable. The kitchen is on the roof and there is a pleasant seating area on the rooftop patio. Breakfast is the standard toast and eggs. It's great that it goes all the way until 11am. Both hosts speak good English and are super helpful. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was quite large.
