Great position. Close enough to walk to city centre and attractions with a great waterfront view. Clean and Comfortable accommodation with everything provided to enjoy a short break.
Stayed 3 nights at this well appointed apartment on the waterfront in Dundee. About a 10-15 minute walk to the heart of the city. Good restaurants and pubs nearby. Place was clean and everything worked. Was disappointed that it did not have a clothes dryer but it did have a drying rack that we used. ...
Car parking is provided but remember that you need to have your ticket validated in order to not be billed.
Very new hotel. Room was excellent. Good breakfast.
Hotel was perfect for our needs. Nice room bathroom good. Could use shower and toilet independently. Excellent breakfast nice staff. Very happy with everything.
Large airy room with quality finishings and a large comfy bed
Lovely views clean modern TV volume set bit too low but ok
Excellent location and lovely historic building. A standard room is definitely not desirable as they tend to look out upon another building immediately adjacent. But the superior rooms have a superior view. And if only they could figure out how to keep the coffee warm!
Treat yourself to a break in Angus and Dundee and be amazed at the range of historical and cultural sites available. The county lays claim to an exceptionally high number of Pictish symbol stones, giving a fascinating glimpse into Scottish history.
As a port, Dundee has a rich naval and maritime history. It is most famous for hosting the RRS Discovery, the ship that took Robert Falcon Scott on his first and successful voyage to the South Pole, which ended in 1904.
There is more to be found than one mere "discovery", however. Dundee is also home to the HMS Unicorn, which claims an even longer history, stretching back to 1824. Now a museum ship, it was found to be the only wooden frigate of her kind still existing in ordinary.
As a vibrant and modern city, Dundee is brimming with current culture. The Dundee Contemporary Arts centre is always worth a visit. Originally built as a showcase for Dundee’s continuing artistic traditions, the DCA has become something of a cultural hub for the town with its combination of galleries, cinema screens, and café bar.
