Find Beach Resorts in Gulf Islands

This is a beautiful resort on a small island between Vancouver and Vancouver Island. It inhabits a peaceful bay with lovely facilities. You do need some form of transportation to get around the Island and we had a hire car for that purpose. But the accommodation, the staff, the location and the experience were all top rate.

Love the location and a absoloutely fabulous room and view. Fantastic reception from the lovely wendy, she made us smile😃😍 definately made our stay. Loved her humour and warmth. Unique in her way, loved her. 😁

Fantastic stay, warm welcome from the staff, room was clean, sofa bed easy to set up with fresh sheets in place. The gym is amazing.

Absolutely delightful place to stay and explore Victoria. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming

Room was spotless and modern. Coffee was delicious. Check in was seamless and convenient.

Lovely set-up here, helpful staff, spacious room. Dinner in the hotel was very good, again with great service and not over-priced at all. Enjoyable stay after a long day.

Wonderful views from the room's spacious balcony. Welcoming host and easy parking. Location is a little out of way so need car to access bar/restaurants and shops

Stayed at the Coast Bastion Hotel and it was lovely. Check in was easy, staff were friendly. Parking is available and cost $9. I asked for a few extra things later and they were provided no problem, Robes in the room which I love. The sliders instead of slippers were ok for me but didn’t fit my husband. The hairdryer was too small , took forever to dry my hair. Fabulous big towels, not skimpy ones. Amazing view of the harbour - great to see the sunset and sunrise. Do like the chilled...

Excellent place to stay while visiting our eldest at university!

Stayed twice at Buccaneer Inn on road trip around Vancouver Island. Excellent self-catering facilities (microwave, full size stove top & oven, toaster, kettle, utensils, etc.) in clean and spacious 'apartment' with separate bedroom Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking and very convenient location for ferry terminal. Only real negative was slightly noisy at night from nearby roads. Would stay again.

Staff were really helpful, clean hotel and bonus to get suite room upgrade. Great to have use of hot tub and good complementary breakfast.

This is a good property, staff really friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean. It is located on the outskirts of Nanaimo but is near all of the retail parks so plenty accessible. The only thing you could really call out about this is that the decor is a bit dated but this shouldn’t put you off. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with two doubles and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is probably getting to a point where it could do with replacing as springs starting to go but this might just be the one in...

Great stay- really convenient and of great quality. Very nearly located from the Gibsons town center as such, the ferry and other activities around. Would stay again

Friendly staff and nice having free muffins fruit and juices in there morning. Garden was beautiful. But unfortunately it rained all the time so couldn't go out there. Handy for getting off the ferry. Restaurants nearby.

Nice clean hotel

The room was clean and lovely view of the water. The reception when I checked it was very helpful. Restaurant attached to hotel was very nice.
