Back at the Mal Oxford after about 10 years gap
"It’s been a while since I last stayed at the Malmaison Oxford and pleased to see the standards have not dropped. Staff super friendly and helpful. Check in process was quick and painless and great recommendations on the local area. The room was clean, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. We had the cooked breakfast which was cooked to order and decent range of buffet options."
"We checked in late at night and would have liked to have paid by cash but it was card only.
Would have liked to have used a lift as I have a leg injury but understand that the hotel is old so it didn’t have one.
The room & bathroom was modern with tea & coffee making facilities.
The highlight of the short stay was the breakfast, for how little the breakfast cost was it was unbelievable value and very nice. All in all the one night stay was extremely good value for money. "
"Nice and professional staff, clean and quiet place my nights were very therapeutic and I was really happy and my kids would love to go back again one day "

"Georgie at the front desk was very professional and did an excellent job. The room we stayed in was newly remodeled and perfect.
I liked having a restaurant on site.
The staff working in the restaurant at breakfast did an excellent job.

"Overnight work stay, place was interesting as it was also a stadium!
Room was very clean, bed was mega comfortable!
Hotel is quite large and as all the rooms surround the playing field, if your room is on the opposite side to the lift (as was mine) then its a fair old walk! However the view of the field was a novelty!
Breakfast was adequate but no more, sausages were not nice at all - was obvious that they had been out inder the lamps for hours, bacon was slightly better but also must have been out a while.
Fantastic choice of food for the evening from the many restaurants just a stones throw away. "

"Great vibrant hotel, which was very busy. Service was very good. Room are spotless but a little dated. Breakfast and dinner was excellant but bar food was not so good (sandwich was more bread than filling, falafel was a veggie bite). Spa and leisure club were excellant.
Lovely trip to local vineyard "

"The hotel is great. Room clean and cozy. Beds comfortable. Reception staff cordial but cold (a certain attitude hard to descrieb). A bit of walk to center, but not too far. Breakfast excellent. "
