Amazing room it had everything we needed for the weekend

All the little additions that make a great b&b are considered and make the stay special. The breakfast is good value and the service is really attentive and aimed to give you a great experience. The information they provide is also helpful but they could do with up dating some of the restaurant reccomendations which were in some cases overly optimistic in the presentation! Fab stay would thoroughly reccomend.

The location was not what we expected from a seaside hotel

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well decorated. The breakfasts were excellent. We will certainly stay at the Furzedown next time we come to Great Yarmouth.

We had a WONDEFUL stay. I have to admit, when we arrived, we were not at all sure, but within a short period of time, it became very apparent that we had made a good choice. The room was spacious, air-conditioned and a huge bed, very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant most evenings, save one (which was a terrible mistake, btw), but he next evening we were back at the Balcony Restaurant, where the service & food were impeccable. This hotel was lovely. Welcoming staff The room was clean the location is great. Wouldn’t recommend getting a room at the front if you have children it might be a bit noisy early hours of the morning. The room was lovely fantastic view comfy bed think it would have been nice if the windows were slightly cleaner but it wasn’t a massive problem. We recently stayed for two nights at The Cliffe Hotel in Lowestoft and were very pleased with our experience. All three agree, very warm welcome, especially as delayed and very late arrival. Staff all welcoming . Looked after nicely after long journey. breakfast was superb. A very nice hotel, to coin a phrase "exactly as it says on the can" Obviously does weddings, I would think very very well. Stay here anytime when this way again. Thanks.

We love here for that reason this is our second trip. Little bit hilly but that's OK. Food at the restaurant is tasty, however BINGO !! You have to be fan of this entertainment otherwise beautiful place to spend quality time. Next time definitely we're planning to stay longer. Thanks guys !

Ideally located -close to city centre (less than 10 minute walk) yet far out enough to be away from the usual city commotion. Staff were pleasant, helpful. Hotel itself is smart and well maintained. Great value.
