"It was tricky to find where to check-in as the accommodation is right next to the bar next door. Don't go to the wrong one! Accommodation itself is a bit tired but does the job. Some features of the room were better than higher priced options e.g place to put your bag which is not the floor :) Dinner was excellent! Highly recommend. I would stay here again due to proximity to the excellent food option."

Property was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, stylish and modern. Had all that you needed and more! Lovely extra touches with the cookies and beers made the place all the more special. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again 10/10

Even before we arrived, we were contacted by the girls introducing themselves and asking if there was anything we needed.
We arrived at By The Sea at midnight, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we wanted to stay longer. It is the most friendliest welcoming hotel you can wish to visit.
There are so many extras for you to use free of charge, deck chairs, bikes, cool boxes, ice packs, inflatables - I could go on and on but so many things to list.

Beautiful, large, spotlessly clean room. Big comfortable bed and lovely bathroom area. Pool area was nice and private. The restaurant offered a good selection of meals. Enjoyed our nights stay.

It is pretty rare for cyclones to come on to mainland Australia so please don't let my review deter you from visiting this area of central Queensland and this excellent hotel in particular. We arrived at the hotel with a cyclone due to make landfall further north the next day. The manager did an excellent job of reassuring us and one night at the hotel turned into three as we followed his excellent advice not to proceed to Rockhampton (hammered by the cyclone) and to allow an extra day for...

Absolutely stunning property and we had a fabulous time. Only issue was the smell of seafood from our fridge which we raised with reception and advised they would contact housekeeping. Was still there and complained again and advised housekeeping had cleaned it. Asked if they could clean with bicarbonate soda or move rooms, and they left a bowl of vinegar in fridge instead. Helped to disguise smell which was bearable. No other issues, and 2 changes of towels during our stay

These apartments have a magnificent view, definitely the best location in Townsville. They are also spacious, very well managed, and very clean. The management of the building and the service they provide is also excellent.

Excellent 2 bedroom penthouse apartment with everything you would need. An amazing pool which was warm and a joy to spend time in and plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar.
