Food was exceptionally good with great choice. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Arrived later than expected, we were provided with sandwiches etc to save us going into town. Best bed I've slept in for a long time. Dog friendly.

I used to stay at this Hotel on a regular (often fortnightly) basis a few years ago as it offered well above average accommodation. I liked its location, which gave a balanced mix of easy access with rural unspoilt views, which is a rare treat for anybody who spends weeks driving up and down the Motorway networks. But what I especially liked was the staff, as they are the entire backbone of this hotel and a credit to its Management, I can't say that i've ever had one negative experience, either...

Loved my spacious room and bathroom. The carpet was really stained and smelly, it needs to go. The carpet on the stairs up to the rooms was even worse. Staff were lovely.

Lovely modern clean room and staff really helpful, great food in the restaurant and family friendly. Great park for kids just across the road

Staff could not have been more helpful. Home from home with super public areas and wonderful food. A gem we will visit again soon!

The history of the Tan Hill inn , and the waterfalls around that area

I arrived late after a long and tiring walk and was very pleasantly surprised to find that I had been upgraded to a double room. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had plenty of top branded toiletries to use. Plenty of tea and coffee also. There was no internet access in the room (No.18) because of its distance from the router but this was freely available in the lounges so not a problem. There was a supply of daily newspapers to peruse in the lounge and a very adequate supply of comfy armchairs...

Great hotel rooms were large and everything we needed. Super value for money. The staff were amazing considering it was Easter and how busy they were, still managed to smile and make time for us. Would highly recommend to stay there as more than reasonable and near the Lakes and The Dales .. will definitely return… thank you guys

Wonderful attention to detail. The comfiest bed and sheets in the UK. Top quality ingredients for brekky doesn’t go unnoticed either. Sue is a superstar. Good luck in London for the awards you deserve to win 🥇 ❤️

Andy & Toni are both wonderful hosts. They made us feel so welcome & made sure that we had everything we needed. Breakfasts were marvelous. Look forward to our next visit. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

A wonderfully atmospheric place to stay. If you have any feeling for historical surroundings you will enjoy your stay. The food was excellent (dinner and breakfast), the room was excellent, and the service excellent.
