"Amazing location! We really enjoyed our stay, the room was good & check in/checkout was a breeze! Loved staying near the store, the tavern connected to the hotel check in area was also super good!"

What a fab cabin - number 6177, about 25 metres from canyon view and south rim trail. Stunning views.
No aircon so was hot on first night even with the fan, but on the second we got in early so could open the windows (with insect nets) to let some air in. Very comfy bed.
Food and drinks in the lodge were good and reasonable for where we were.
Wifi was very intermittent but had 4G data.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy with the facilities - a kitchenette with a full-size fridge and microwave, plenty of crockery and cooking utensils, an iron and ironing board and a safe. The room was very clean and confit and had a large balcony furnished with a small table and two chairs. The location was excellent, only a few minutes walk from the South Rim. The blue route bus stops right outside Maswik Lodge reception and the early morning Hikers Express Bus stops about 5...

Lovely and clean room,we travelled for my husband's birthday and they kindly decorated the room with balloons! The staff were helpful and kind and we received a 20% off coupon for the steakhouse opposite which was absolutely delicious! Free and vast parking. Thank you for a delightful stay

Great location at the edge of the grand canyon village, which is better. Seemed chaotic in the main part of the village, so thankful for this location. On site dining option, good choice but does get busy and warm (we visited in mid may and temperature was ramped up every time we were in there, morning or evening) On site starbucks was good for a morning burrito and coffee also the market is on the other side of the car park with plenty of stock of items. Very short walk to catch the free bus to...

Hotel was great, very helpful staff. Breakfast was good value for money. Ideally situated for the canyon.
The only downside as we were travelling for a few weeks was the laundrette only had two washing machines.
Parking was spacious.

Which area of Grand Canyon Village, Arizona, United States of America is best to stay in for convenient parking?
For convenient parking in Grand Canyon Village, the area around Market Plaza or the Visitor Centre offers the best options. These locations serve as key hubs, providing more accessible parking compared to other parts of the village. This is especially true for those arriving later in the morning during peak times.
Market Plaza is particularly advantageous for its larger car parks, including Lot B, which accommodates RVs and trailers. This area tends to have spaces available for longer, ensuring a less stressful arrival. From here, you can easily access the village's attractions via the convenient shuttle service, making it an excellent choice for those prioritising ease of parking.
While the Historic District by the rim offers proximity to stunning views, its parking is very limited and fills up quickly.
